Supporting the “virtual” Brissy to Bay 2020 for MS

A team from HDAA has signed up for the Brissy to Bay bike ride 2020 in support of MS Queensland.

The MS Brissy to Bay ride is in its 30th year, but this year there’s an exciting difference. In line with the Australian and State government restrictions for social distancing due to COVID-19, this year, it’s a virtual bike ride!

From 1 – 30 June we will ride mountain bikes, road bikes, exercycles, e-bikes, fat bikes and be clocking the KM’s daily.  We’ll accumulating the distance we each ride to reach our team goal of 500KMs over the course of June.

HDAA team have chosen a number of activities this year in support of our community – our own team and wider society though social and environmental projects and events.

MS was chosen as close to the heart of one team member who has a family with MS. Plus the event provides a “group” activity that benefits the physical and mental health of our team during these social distancing days!

World MS Day is Saturday 30 May and is neatly followed by the Brissy to Bay ride starting on 1 June. You can track our progress and are welcome to support us support MSQ.
